Candidate for
Member, Town Council; Town of San Anselmo

I currently serve on the San Anselmo Planning Commission and co-chair the Library Advisory Board. Previously I was a member of the Quality of Life Commission and participated in activities of the Historical Commission. I have been a regular attendee at San Anselmo Town Council meetings for several years. Earlier I served two terms on the Marin County Civil Grand Jury in the roles of Education Committee chair and Foreman Pro Tempore. I am now a trainer of new grand jurors with the California Grand Jurors' Association.

I majored in Political Science at UC Riverside and after completing four years of active duty as a Navy Communications Intelligence Officer, I did graduate work in Political Science and earned my teaching credential at UC Berkeley. I taught high school Social Studies, primarily Government, United States History and Economics for 32 years, the last 30 at Terra Linda High School.

My wife Vida and I have lived on Meadowcroft Drive in San Anselmo for 39 years. My children, Lisa and Ned, attended Brookside, Hidden Valley, Red Hill and Drake High schools. My son, his wife and my two small grandsons, Pace and Jordan, also live in San Anselmo.
