Position Papers
MPC is dear to my heart and I will do my utmost to preserve present programs and secure positions and benefits for all employees
I have been associated with MPC since 1975. I was a part-time instructor and a member of the team that initiated Ethnic Studies Program and EOPS.
Goals...
My goals that I pledge to fulfill reflect the needs and the issues that many of our residents, MPC faculty and staff as well as many students shared with me since I left the Board in 2001..
It is time for a change. It is time that the Board represents all residents. It is time that the Board reflects diversity...
We need to preserve and improve the quality of our educational programs in spite of all obstacles. Our residents deserve the best. I will strive to preserve and improve "the life-long learning program," thereby maintaining the quality of education in its transfer program and in its vocational education program.
