After becoming a citizen I made it clear to myself that the next step was to get involved in my community and I can gladly say that I am doing it.I feel that a good Board Member needs to have a GOOD communication with all the parties which are the parents,teachers,and students.Accesibility is what I will deliver.Personal involvement in the success of the children,and to learn as I go how the Schooling system works.I strongly believe that the earlier you reach a child's mind the stronger the impact. Thru our walking of precincts I have learned that the biggest struggle for the parents is helping their kids with their school works since many parents have a low schooling background.This is the same problem my parents faced while trying to help me with my school works.Many kids feel they are not being listened to for the mere fact that they are kids.I will not forget who I will work for.America is a land of opportunity and it has given me the opportunity to make my convictions heard thru this campaign.I have learned that the worst thing to do is to do nothing at all.
