Position Papers
Public Safety
We need to take another look at the city budget to determine if there is money for more Sheriff's Deputies. In the meantime, we should employ low-cost alternatives to augment the effectiveness of the deputies we already have.
Assist our Schools
Although not the responsibility of city government, we need to assist our local schools who are suffering because of the State budget crisis.
Social Change
We must improve the quality of life for senior citizens, veterans and those with poverty-level income.
