· I am a life long resident of Maywood for 31 years.

· In 1997, I helped bring the new community center in Maywood Park that provides

more sport activities and senior citizen activities.

· I represented Maywood in the Academic Decathlon for Bell High School.

· Graduated from UCLA in Engineering.

· Currently obtaining a Master's in Public Administration from Cal State Long Beach (CSULB).

· I helped form the Citizen's on Patrol Program to help keep Maywood safe.

· I helped bring to Maywood $1.8 million from Gloria Molina's office and $1.8 million from Assemblymember Marco Firebaugh for the new river park.

· I supported and helped bring in two new schools to Maywood that haven't been built since 1925.

· In 1997 and 1998, I helped bring new neon street lights for several streets and sidewalks.

· I supported and approved the fixing of all our residential streets.

· I helped beautify the city with new flower plants and a median in the center of Slauson Ave.

· I created the free bus service for Maywood Residents (the Maywood Express), which has several bus stops in Maywood.

· I supported brining in redevelopment money for new businesses in Maywood.

· I helped bring in two propane powered buses for the use of Maywood residents

for transporting children, families, and the elderly.

· I brought in the Maywood scholarship program for Maywood high school students.
