UNITY IN CITY COUNCIL DISTIRCT 14

By Crystal Arceo

Candidate for Council Member; City of Los Angeles; District 14

This information is provided by the candidate
COMMUNICATION....ECONOMIC RESOURCES....PRIORITIES....EQUALS A STRONG COMMUNITY
I am running for elected office because over the past 10 years there has been a lack of communication, between the constituency in the 14th District and their City Council representatives. We are in a tough political and economic environment that requires that we share common ideas and values that will help our city grow stronger. With limited resources and much to do, we need civic leaders who are not only educated but also have common sense.

Leaders who are willing to think outside of the box and with fresh ideas that are not only workable, but also at times even edgy.

City government and elected representatives need to be relevant to their constituencies. If we can work together to solve our most profound problems then I as a Council member can change lives so that all of our citizens can be strong and successful.

I am running to create a partnership with all members in my community. I want to help shape new policies that are not only fiscally responsible but that make sense for all of our citizens, and that are functional in our neighborhoods and schools.
