  • Katherine will ensure that the city is prepared for a natural disaster by ensuring the water drainage system is maintained in good working order.
  • Long Beach Boulevard has remained a disgrace for over 25 years, as a City Council Member Katherine will work diligently to clean up the social ills that have plagued our streets.
  • Katherine Amey is committed to educating and protecting the citizens of our community by helping them fight for their rights by assisting those who need home repairs, street repairs, loans, grants, and information on community resources. Katherine is committed to treating all citizens fairly and equally in the community.
  • Katherine's plan to deal with the issue of illegal house add-ons is to follow the law and safety first. Assist the homeowners with information on grants and loans to bring their property up to city code.
  • Katherine plans to work with other council members, local businesses and sheriff's department to ensure safe, clean and beautiful streets so that citizens can enjoy our city in the evening. She plans to also bring more lighting, venues and options for the community to enjoy such as movie theaters, bowling alleys, and family oriented environments.
  • The issues that plague our community are often ignored instead of being addressed and solved. As a member of City Council Katherine vows to take on and work to resolve these issues. Together we can raise Lynwood's image, economic, spiritual and social level.
