Biographical Highlights
  • Party: Democratic
  • Occupation: President, Soteni International
  • As founder and president of Soteni International I have raised thousands to prevent and mitigate the effects of HIV/AIDS in African women and children
  • Through my long and ongoing work in public health I have combatted many of the most destructive diseases of our time.
  • I have often worked with unions in southern Ohio as both an officer for NIOSH (see below) and as consulting physician for the Local Steel Workers.
  • I have explored and worked throughout the world. Most recently I was based for three years in Kenya, combatting the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

  • I continued to develop my qualifications as a public servant by continuing my M.D. through both a masters and doctorate in public health from Harvard.
Top Priorities if Elected
  • Guaranteed Health Care and Health Insurance: Ohio families and our seniors are unjustly lacking healthcare, while costs are hindering Ohio business.
  • Balanced Budget: America cannot stand to operate much longer under a dehibilitating debt that will only come back to haunt our children.
  • Reuniting a divided Congress and Country: My career has been defined by a results-oriented philosophy with a focus on consensus building.
