Steve Tye has served Diamond Bar well for 22 years, including: City Planning Commissioner since 1997, Chairman twice; Parks & Recreation Commission Chairman; Member, Library Task Force; Member, Sports Complex Task Force; Soccer and Little League Coach; School volunteer; Volunteer for numerous service organizations, such as Rotary Club; Member, Diamond Bar General Plan Advisory Committee.

A successful businessman, Steve Tye has the know-how to make tough decisions to balance the city’s budget on time, essential in our state’s uncertain economy.

An 8-year Planning Commissioner, Steve Tye has the experience to work through the complex planning and land-use issues coming soon before our Council.

A husband and father, Steve Tye knows our library is too small, our sports facilities too few, and our roads too congested to meet our families’ needs. Steve will work to get a better library, more sports facilities, and to reduce our growing cut-through traffic.

Steve Tye has the skills of persuasion and persistence to bring new businesses to Diamond Bar, to help pay for our community’s needs.
