Jack Tanaka is a strong advocate for Public Safety, with 30 years as a Peace Officer. He gained Leadership Skills by serving 23 years in the United States Army Reserves.

Jack will dedicate time on the much-needed Economic Development to bring new businesses and retain existing businesses: helping them to succeed. He is supported by over 40 City businesses! Being successful means bringing in funds to build a Library, Community Pool, Sports Center for youths and adults.

Utmost importance is an enterprise zone approach to revitalize our existing shopping centers and the construction of an environmentally sensitive bypass road near Tonner Canyon to mitigate our huge traffic problem.

Jack is a dedicated volunteer, is an active participant in all aspects of the city: Planning Commissioner, member of the Chamber, Friends of the Library, Senior Citizens Club, Paint the Town, Diamond Bar Breakfast Lions Club, California Asian Peace Officers Association and Advisor for the Leo Club at Diamond Bar High. Jack is involved with all ages: from Seniors to establishing youth clubs at local schools.

Jack Tanaka has a BA Degree from CSULB, married to Wanda, residing in Diamond Bar for 29 years.
