Candidate for
City Clerk; City of Glendale

I work for the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors in the Executive Office/Clerk of the Board. I am responsible for the Information Resource Management Division, which supports the technology and business processes used by over 375 staff. Like the City Clerks Office, my department is the Official record keeper for Los Angeles County and is responsible for holding and recording County Board meetings as well as staffing over 25 other commissions and committees.

My management experience includes extensive knowledge of the functions of a Clerk of the Board, Civil Service and management of complex government organizations. I am a Vietnam Veteran and belong to the California Association of County Clerks and Elected Officials. I worked in the computer industry for 16 years, including twelve years at the Disney Studios, as a business systems consultant with Unisys. I have 12 years of senior management experience with Los Angeles County and have managed as many as 40 people with an assigned budget of $12,000,000.
