Shall Article XI, Section 7 and Article XV, Section 2 of the Charter of the City of Glendale be amended to change obsolete language regarding the “official newspaper” to the “newspaper of general circulation?”

Impartial Analysis from City Attorney Scott H. Howard
The current Charter requires that office notifications be published in the "official newspaper." The proposed amendment will change that reference to a more modern title of "newspaper of general circulation."

Arguments For Measure CharterAmendment-11
The amendment proposes to modernize the charter by changing the reference to the "official newspaper" as the "newspaper of general circulation," since there currently is no "official newspaper" actually published in the City of Glendale.
