West Hollywood can be better that is why I am running.

In 20 years our city has changed from a small bohemian town to an over-developed cramped noisey place to live.

Beautiful neighborhoods and buildings have been destroyed.

I am a friend of the renter, I have rented in West Hollywood since 1986 and in 19 years as a resident and renter-our West Hollywood has changed to an overcrowded problematic city.

We lost rent control and our city did not fight hard enough to get rent control back so we are left with high rents, more crime, more noise and not a great quality of life here.

I support:

Historic Preservation Green Space More Parking Better Traffic Circulation Housing Renters' Rights Less Crime

Projects like the Gateway Project could have supported housing towers and still have none?

The process where the "residents input" comes first is ignored and where residents are "notified and included" regarding these new developments below has been very poor:

-the Hancock Project

-Tara

-The Ramona

-Melrose Triangle

-Sherbourne Triangle

I will not "tune you out" or berate you-the residents at city council meetings. I will be your ally and your voice for the residents' quality of life issues.

I will consider you-the residents first.

You deserve to be heard-Vote Cleary

I respectfully ask for your support and your vote.

Best regards,

Jerome Cleary
