Russ has attributes that uniquely qualify him to serve on the City Council. He has earned his reputation for honesty and integrity by demonstrating that he genuinely cares for the people of our community. His core values are best represented by the statement, "walk it like you talk it," which defines his character and credibility. He is also known as a "bridge builder" and a problem solver because of his ability to achieve compromise resolutions of conflicts between adversaries.

As a City Council member, he will strive to:

• provide a moderate, objective perspective reflective of a typical Claremont resident
• be a good listener and give fair consideration to all points
• be a problem-solver by seeking a positive middle ground through consensus building
