March 8: Contra Costa, El Dorado, Humboldt, Los Angeles, Marin, Sacramento, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Sonoma Counties.

April 5: Los Angeles and Orange (Santa Ana) Counties.

April 12: Los Angeles County (Burbank).

April 19: Los Angeles County.

May 17: Alameda (Oakland) and Los Angeles Counties

Several counties in California are conducting local elections in the first part of 2005. Almost all counties will have local elections on November 8, 2005.

League of Women Voters organizations supporting local elections will contact candidates to ask for their participation about two months before an election. We offer all candidates free web space to help inform voters.
