Smart Voter Full Biography for Terry Weber

Candidate for
State Representative; District 31

Terry has lived on the westside most of his life attending Gamble Jr. High and Western Hills High School graduating in 1969. After high school he put himself through college and law school by working full time and attending school full time. First he atteded U.C. and received his B.A. in History in 1973. from there he atteded Northern Kentucky State College-Chase College of Law and received his J.D. there in 1981. While attending chase at night he also worked full time during the day for the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, working his way up to office manager before leaving in 1985. He the went into private practice and became a guardian ad litem to represent abused and neglected children, something he had done during his law school days. In the mid 1980's he joined the staff of the Hamilton County Public Defender's Office in the Juvenile Division where he remains today. He is currenly in charge of the division that handles all juvenile and domestic relations cases for the Public Defenders Office. He trains and suprevises all new and incoming attorneys and support staff and participates in other activies as needed. His passion is children and finding the solution to keep them from getting into trouble They are the future he has chosen to work with
