Questions & Answers

1. What are your qualifications for office?

Served six years in the Ohio General Assembly as The State Representative in Cincinnati. Also served as Mayor, Vice Mayor, and Councilwoman in the City of Forest Park, Ohio.

3. What do you see as the two most pressing issues you would address if elected? What plans do you have relative to those issues?

1) Early Childhood Education for all children in Ohio. Commit to universal prekindergarten education for all kids, using a sliding scale based on income to students from middle income families. Teachers to obtain a bachelor's degree in training in early childhood education. Ohio to make education the #1 priority in Ohio's budget of the 05-06 and FUND pre K-12 with GRF dollars. 2) Higher Education access in all Community Colleges for students of choice. Ohio needs an educated workforce to attract better jobs and opportunities. Offer State Fund Scholarships to students based on family income.
