Questions & Answers

1. What are your qualifications for office?

During ten years as your Coroner, I have directed a regional criminal justice support agency of international stature. As a forensic pathologist with decades of experience, I know how a crime laboratory operates. As a physician, parent and citizen, I am sensitive to the needs and concerns of our community.

3. What do you see as the two most pressing issues you would address if elected? What plans do you have relative to those issues?

1) retaining Hamilton County's role as a strong, convincing voice at the State and national levels promoting humane but effective, Standards-based forensic pathology; 2) finding creative ways to maintain crime laboratory expertise and equipment at levels necessary to support the criminal justice system in an era of governmental budgetary constraints as well as expanding the scope of our efforts in working with federal, state and local authorities in preparing for and mitigating mass fatality events.
