By Larry J. Miller

Candidate for Director; Calleguas Municipal Water District; Division 3

This information is provided by the candidate
I believe my experience as a Plant Manager of several Water Reclamation Plants, technical expertise, and ability to effectively communicate in common terms will be an immense benefit to the other Board Members in understanding and making policy for our complex water issues.
I have been involved in water management for the past 34 years, from basic water policy to desalination, water reclamation, treatment, transmission, and distribution. I have a BS in engineering from CSULB and a water distribution license. I have taught water science classes at Ventura College since 1990.

As a manager with experience at water reclamation facilities, I have practical knowledge of the water industry that will be an immense benefit to the customers we serve through the Board of Directors.

Having lived in Moorpark for seventeen years I have extensive experience in the community including serving my HOA Board as President, Treasurer, and Secretary. In the early nineties I was an active parent Booster of Moorpark's Marching Musketeer band.

The Board needs to balance the need for effectively storing water, developing new sources, and ensuring that we do not over-extend this precious resource by carefully analyzing Calleguas' ability to ensure reliable water supplies for our region.

I believe in representing homeowners, fiscal accountability, and ensuring all stakeholders are heard. Water is the most important element of our basic infrastructure.

I respectfully ask for your vote to help assure our water needs are properly managed
