Thoughts and Position
I have been following the unification issue carefully for the past few months and have spoken with as many residents of Camarillo as possible. I believe the PVSD Board is under an obligation to listen and weigh all sides of this issue before taking a position. As I have not been privy to all the research and background work that has already begun, I have not taken a position on either side yet. I do believe; however, that we need to resolve this issue as a community within the next six months. Furthermore, whether unification occurs or not, Camarillo does need and deserve a new high school.
