Finances! Obtaining adequate funding is presently the greatest challenge facing our community colleges. My primary responsibility as your trustee will be to maximize revenues, and prioritize and monitor the distribution of funds for the betterment of the academic experience. I will explore a variety of sources of additional funding from the private sector. In addition to my statutory duties, I will create a curriculum oversight committee, expand connections with four year universities, and develop a guest lecture program that will include prominent volunteer local residents, and be open to both students and the community.

As an attorney I have dealt with a large number of young people and favorably impacted many lives in crisis. For the last five years I have been a volunteer coach for the successful Camarillo High Mock Trial Team. I am a father of five, and hold two degrees from UCLA: a B.S. in Business Administration and a Doctor of Jurisprudence.

I believe my experience, expertise, and enthusiasm will serve the community well.
