It is important for the residents of a community to take part in the city activities. In order for elected officials to understand the needs of the people it is imperative for the people to speak with them or attend the council meetings. It is possible to have neighborhood gatherings to pass information and receive suggestions. A city can be an exciting and beautiful place with the participation of its residents. I believe more gets accomplished by working together.

We all pay taxes. These taxes are used to provide services for the people living in a community. To obtain a comfortable and safe community: beautiful parks, safe streets, good water, above standard schools, churches, a modern sewer system, programs for all age groups and cultures to enjoy, medical services, above standard police and fire departments are some of the ingredients that allows for a desirable quality of life. This is how our tax dollars are used. As we progress, we can look forward to improving and increasing the services and programs that now exist.
