Candidate for Mayor; City of Riverbank

This information is provided by the candidate
Retail businesses and services are vital to Riverbank. We must do our best to support the Riverbank business community.
The City of Riverbank has recently adopted a Redevelopment Agency. This is a tool that can be used to improve many facets of our fine city. It does not raise taxes. It uses the taxes you already pay. Redevelopment can bring improved property, more retail, more jobs, and affordable housing. It is an exciting process, that can bring the improvement we so sorely need. I support the Redevelopment Agency. I believe, it will prove to be a boon to our city. However, it is up to you, the residents of Riverbank, to let the agency know what you would like to see become available. It is important that each one of you take part in the process to make sure things are done in agreement to the needs of the city.

I, personally, try my best to shop in the stores and shops of Riverbank and to dine in our restaurants. It is important that each one of us support Riverbank's business community. The more sales tax dollars collected in Riverbank, the better our enviroment.
