Questions & Answers

1. What does California need to do to address the current budget crisis?

Stop looking at it as an easy problem with an easy fix. A Top down corporate payroll system needs to be adopted for all taxpayer funded employees. Medicare/Medical reforms need to be adopted mandating all HMO's and medical providers to accept and punishing shoody work, overbilling, ect. with criminal penalties. Adopt balanced budget with exceptions for emergencies. Adopt mandated State text books for all required (core) subjects public and private. Adopt laws preventing governments from punishing citizens by shutting down libraries, turning off street lights, cutting police patrols, etc if their new bonds, tax bills, whatnots are rejected by voters. Tax credits for child support as well as spousal support. Decriminalization and removal from prosecution of minor drug offenses. Limits on deductions from employees checks for all purposes.

2. What should the state's priorities be for K-12 education? For the Community College System?

Standardization of all textbooks for required or core classes. Study elimination of individual school districts and replacement with single standardized system. End most zero tolerence programs. Expulsion for only a few offenses not many. The kids belong in school. Extra homework, tasks, running laps, etc. for punishment not suspensions or epulsions. Exposure and elimination of corporate and government influences resulting in the illegal exclusion and discrimination of students.

3. What measures would you support to address California's water needs?

Re-establishment of price controls and regulations. The argument that Public utilities must be allowed to compete in a market economy is rediculous when consumers can only buy from one company. State mandated plan balancing the needs of Farmers, Individuals and Businesses irrespective of local districts and agencies. Study the merger of all these districts into one combined state managed system.

4. What should the Legislature be doing to address the needs of Californians without health insurance?

Mandate all doctors, dentists, health care providers pareticipate in Medical/Medicare. Punish criminally substandard work and corruption. Work to cover all persons with health coverage and encourage the Federal Government to come up with a comprehensive all citizen plan. Work to develop a more European health care system which allows the prescription of many drugs from the pharmicicst freeing the doctors for serious patients. Yes some education and effort would be required.
