I am running to ensure change. Some say I don't have the experience. They are right! I don't have experience cutting health care and disability funding. I don't have experience taking vacations while the budget has not been passed. I don't have experience cutting education funding. For the record I had no experience when I took office as president of the student body at Modesto Junior College. Yet in the end, when I left MJC I was considered one of the best presidents in the 80 year history of the school. The same thing happened at CSU Stanislaus when I was Chairman if the Board of Directors for the University Union. I have always dedicated myself to service. I believe in being the first one in the office and the last one out. I also believe in the right to a good quality education, a good job with benefits, and the right to own an affordable home. These are the issues I choose to focus on. I care about the people in my district; they are my colleagues, my friends, and my loved ones. When elected I WILL PROTECT THEM!
