Statement of Qualifications By Keith Roberts

Hello. As an involved citizen, you're probably very concerned about the quality of life in Rohnert Park. I want to ensure the well-being of the community because I plan on calling Rohnert Park my home for life. I'm running for City Council because we need a healthy change.

The City of Rohnert Park is a beautiful environment, but I've witnessed deterioration due to excessive development. As a City Council Member, I will promote sensible growth, yet support affordable housing. I will restore community pride and confidence in city government by encouraging open public debate and being honest, straightforward, and responsive to citizens.

The need for greater fiscal responsibility is apparent. Sound budget practices are essential during these times of economic peril. Issues that lately haven't received the attention they deserve still need to be addressed. I will fight to expand Public Safety, strengthen youth programs, and improve the relationship between the community and Sonoma State University. Needs of senior citizens living on limited income must be met and rights of mobile home residents must be protected. Every candidate says they understand our community's needs, but we need someone with ambition and resourcefulness to take action. I believe I'm that person. Your vote is appreciated.
