Experienced Leadership In Your Schools

By Robert L "Bob" Muelrath

Candidate for Board Member; Bellevue Union School District

This information is provided by the candidate
Over 25 years experience working with parents, teachers, administation, school finance, curriculum, educational programs, legislative mandates, new school construction, over crowding, declining enrollment, after school programs, etc..
Elementary education is the foundation that builds the skills our children need to succeed in an increasingly competitive world. It is our responsibility as school board members, parents, teachers and administrators to give our children that strong foundation by making sure every student becomes competent in basic academic and social skills.

I have served as a member of the Bellevue Union School District Board of Trustees for more than twenty-five years. During recent years, I have been instrumental in the completion of a new school, formation of a budget committee which eliminated a deficit of $640,000 from the budget while maintaining our programs, creating a partnership to successfully reduce the cost of student transportation, and working with our community to improve educational standards within our district. In addition, construction will begin this fall on the new Taylor Mountain School.

Because of my experience I understand the increasing economic and educational challenges our schools face and am committed to provide teachers the tools needed to ensure our students the best education possible. With your support, I will continue to work to assure our children a solid foundation for a bright and successful future. I respectfully ask for your vote. Thank you.
