Re-Elect Debora for continued smart growth in Windsor

By Debora Lynn Fudge

Candidate for Member, Town Council; Town of Windsor

This information is provided by the candidate
I am running for a third term to the Windsor Town Council so I can finish what I have been working on for the past ten years + the incredible transformation of the Town of Windsor. I am writing to ask you for your support. I plan to continue approving high quality development downtown just like you see now. We have created a community with our summer outdoor movies and concerts on our Town Green, and through support of the Farmers' Market. It is important that I am re-elected so we can finish a forward thinking vision plan for Old Redwood Highway in order to prevent strip mall development, and to make sure our pro-active vision plan for the Shiloh area is implemented as the area starts to develop in the next five years. In progress is a creatively designed moderately priced housing development at the Windsor Mill property in downtown that needs my support. Our train station is on track for construction this winter, and if the community will support it, I'd like to see a community swim complex built at Keiser Park. I will continue to honor our 20 year urban growth boundary, and to keep growth at a slow rate. I'd also like to continue to work with the schools to help integrate our school children into all of the community events we have going on now, and I want to work on a Safe Routes to Schools program in Windsor.

As I've done in the past, my campaign manager (Fran Tanti, a local Windsor resident) and I will be running my campaign ourselves in a grassroots manner.

I promise to continue working for you, and as always, to be an accessible councilmember.
