Member, City Council; City of Santa Rosa

Caroline has lived in Sonoma County since 1983, after being born in Los Angeles. She has been a resident of Santa Rosa for most of that time, and currently resides in the Northwest area of town. Caroline attended Santa Rosa Junior College in the late eighties, and transferred to Sonoma State University in 1991. She graduated with Distinction from SSU with a degree in Political Science. Caroline has worked in government, private industry and the non-profit sector. For the last seven years, she has worked as a legal assistant.

Throughout her time in Santa Rosa, she has been actively involved in the community, serving as a volunteer board member for organizations involving youth, homelessness, and mental health. She has also been involved with City government, proudly serving as Councilwoman, Noreen Evans' appointee to both the Community Action Team (CAT) and the newly formed Community Advisory Board (CAB).

She is especially proud of her work as a strong advocate and liaison for the Latino community. Caroline has been President of the Sonoma County Latino Democratic Club since 1996, and has been active as a voice for Latinos, other minorities and other under-represented individuals.
