About me I am 44 years old and I attended De Anza College. While there I was the Director of Communications and I represented the 13 Bay Area colleges to the State Student Government Association. During my second year, I was elected President of this State association representing 107 colleges and 1.3 million students. As President I was required to move to Sacramento where I lobbied the legislature and was appointed to the State Ad-Hoc committee on the Lottery, representing all of California's students.

I was the Information Systems Manager and Sales Manager for the American Botanical Council. I have been an IT consultant, small business consultant and sales rep. I am the out-going President of The Partnership Foundation, a non-profit organization providing training for partnership in relationship in all areas of life. Currently, I am the President of Girlstart, Inc., a non profit encouraging middle school aged girls in math, science and technology and the CEO of Hi-Tech Lamps, Inc., a specialized distributor of technical replacement lamps to the semiconductor, scientific and biotechnology industries. I also coach people on ways to listen intentionally and compassionately in order to truly understand another person.

I have over 20 years experience in business management, non-profit boards and political activism. I have hands on experience and understanding of the budgetary process and of legal language.

I have worked in service most of my life. It is the act of serving others to get what they want that has made me who I am today. My core values in life are partnership and collaboration.

My passion is empowering individuals to explore themselves, their passion, and their heart. I love connecting with people and envisioning their future with them.
