Hello, I see myself as a moderate who supports the direction that Gavin Newsom is leading the city. I find myself to be liberal on social issues yet fiscally conservative and practical in dealing with financial matters. I want to bring my twenty eight years of business experience to city government to balance the budget, cut waste and demand accountability of all departments.

I have been an aggressive D5 activist fighting to maintain the character, density, livability, and Historic architecture of our district for over thirty years. I believe in full neighborhood involvement and input in all projects which affect the district. I have been on the front lines trying to stop the demolition of architecturally and historic structures throughout the city. I have fought big box formula retail corporations from intruding in our neighborhood commercial districts. I took an active role working with PADS to ensure that the Pitts Housing Project was rebuilt with community guidance. I belong to Alamo Square Neighborhood Association, HANC, Beideman Place Neighborhood Association, the Victorian Alliance, California Historical Society, and am on the Board of the Haight-Ashbury Merchants Association.
