The San Francisco School Board needs to stop putting politics first.

For Heather Hiles, the first priority is making sure that all our students have the chance to attend excellent schools.

Instead of fighting over politics, Heather is working to bring change to the San Francisco School Board--to improve every school and create opportunity for every child.

That means making sure there is a quality school in every neighborhood, a first-rate principal leading each school, and teachers in every classroom who are receiving the support and resources they need to succeed. To help attract and retain good teachers, Heather has an innovative affordable housing plan to keep good teachers in San Francisco.

Heather is working to make neighborhood schools centers of community life and a safe place for our kids to stay after school. She is bringing new academically rigorous Dream Schools to underserved communities. And, to make sure that our money is well spent, Heather is fighting for better financial accountability at every level of our schools.

Heather Hiles believes that together we can create the schools all San Francisco students deserve. That's why she is putting politics aside and putting children first.
