One of Valley Center's unique fortunes is that significant commercial development has not been able to occur because of the inability to dispose of its future wastewater. Before this development begins, the residents and existing businesses in Valley Center have the opportunity to control the quality of new projects. These opportunities have been largely ignored, however, by over a decade of Planning Group inaction. For Valley Center to reach its potential, it needs experience and energy working for it.
