1. As a 27-year resident of Solana Beach, I truly know our town and I pledge to preserve and enhance our treasured quality of life. I proved my commitment to this pledge when I saw an inappropriate design for our Coastal Rail Trail and successfully set about to change it. I will continue my commitment to ensure our quality of life is preserved by scrutinizing all future developments and voting on issues with resident's needs first in my mind.

2. As we revitalize Solana Beach, I will ensure all improvements are consistent with our well-thought-out General and Specific Plan guidelines and our town's beachside character. I believe we can upgrade our town AND keep our eclectic personsality.

3. I will work for the health of our beaches and bluffs. This complex issue calls for far greater solutions than our City can ultimately provide, so I will work to find a statewide solution. Meantime, it is imperative to complete our Local Coastal Plan, to secure the state and federal dollars to fund sand replenishment and find innovative ways to keep this sand on our beaches.
