Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Adam Freese

Candidate for
Council Member; City of El Cajon

The city is a good place to live. But it could be better. The downtown redevelopment district has stalled for far too long. It is time to finish that project. Our Police and Fire departments are grossly understaffed, by 2005 we will be 20 cops short of what we need. 1/3rd of the Fire department is retiring in the next 5 years. Neither department has the ability to be this understaffed. Doing "more with less" should not be the credo of the people that protect us and watch over us as we sleep.

I graduated from Granite Hills High, In 1991 the classes were crowded and the teachers weren't paid enough. It is 12 years later and the problem is worse now then ever before. Teachers deserve more then they get, they mold and shape our future. Help me in supporting our public schools.
