Council Member; City of Poway

I believe that the best government is that which is closest to the people. City government provides the services that most closley affect residents such as streets, water, fire protection, police, sewer and trash disposal, parks and construction services.

I believe strongly that a councilmember must listen to the public, work with the public and reflect their wishes for their community. As a councilman, I have always believed in involving the public in the decisions that will affect them most. I also support volunteerism and community activisim. Poway has a high number of people that care about their city and contribute thousands of hours to help keep Poway the great place that it is today, "The City in the Country."
