Why I am running for El Cajon City Council?

As an American, I am blessed with freedom, democracy and the opportunity to participate in government. Growing up on a ranch gave me a sense of responsibility and an appreciation for the success that good hard work generates. Serving overseas in the U.S. Navy, I learned that freedom does not come free.

My wife, Karen, has shared my hopes, dreams, and experiences for the last 35 years. Our son, Michael, is our hope for the future, and through him, I know there is a future to care about. I know that what we do today is our legacy to our children and grandchildren. The well being of the future is in the hands of those who govern today.

When asked to volunteer, I have always stepped forward to contribute and help improve our community. The first time I did that was in 1970 as a member of the El Cajon Jaycees. I will always volunteer when I know that I can make a difference.

I have a vision and a plan for El Cajon for today and tomorrow. I know that I can make a difference. I ask for your support on November 2nd.
