Greg is serving his second term on the Morgan Hill City Council. He was first elected in 1998, finishing second in a field of six candidates. He and fellow Councilmember Steve Tate ran unopposed in 2002, the first time two councilmembers have run unopposed in Morgan Hill history.

As a City Councilmember and now as Mayor Pro Tem, Greg has worked to protect public safety, expand recreation services, improve our downtown, and restore medical services. He Chaired the Downtown Plan Update Committee, and currently Co-Chairs the Indoor Recreation Committee.

Greg is married to Suzi, a popular Morgan Hill fitness and dance teacher. They have three children--Tristan, 14, Aubrey, 6, and Bevin, 3. Like most parents, Greg and Suzi spend most of their free time attending their childrens' many activities.

Greg owns his own local business, Sellers Associates, which provides political and public policy consulting services. His firm has successfully implemented a wide variety of local and state political campaigns, public policy initiatives, and community development projects. He was named one of California's 2002 "political consultants on the rise" by the influential California Journal.

Greg is the first person in a generation to grow up in Morgan Hill and then serve on the City Council. He graduated from Live Oak High School in 1979, then went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He began his career in the Bay Area, but returned to Morgan Hill to serve as Executive Director of the Morgan Hill Downtown Revitalization Program, where he helped to restore Morgan Hill's Historic Downtown.
