Santa Clara is unique because of the nexus of the past and the future. It's historical context as one of the California missions along the El Camino is symbolic of pioneering and economic development. Santa Clara has gone from being the center of the valley's agriculture to being the center of the valley's high tech legacy. The mission, Santa Clara University, the semiconductor and hi-tech industries.. . . all while Santa Clara is home to over 106,000 people. There is a unique harmony with the challenges of modern day growth and the serenity of the rich history of a close, diverse community.

I've come to appreciate all of the qualities that make Santa Clara such a wonderful place to live. With my rich experience in public service and being involved in civic activities as a volunteer, I want to help Santa Clara continue to be that special place that attracted me to its wonderful neighborhoods. Like the many residents before me, I want to raise my family in Santa Clara. As a Councilmember, I want to help preserve the unique characters that make Santa Clara such a wonderful place to live and help build our community for all future residents of Santa Clara.

Furthermore, I believe that Santa Clara deserves the kind of leader that will always put its residents first. As a candidate, I have made ethics and integrity in City Hall one of my top priorities.
