I currently serve on our City's Planning Commission. I enjoy the challenge and the experience of working with our dedicated community leaders to develop sound policy that improves the quality of life for all residents of Santa Clara.

I have both public and private sector experience. I currently manage a team on the Online Sales & Operations division of Google, a company that prides on its mission to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. Prior to Google, I worked as a policy aide for Congresswoman Anna Eshoo. I had the pleasure of working with policy issues in the area of transportation, economic development, and quality of life issues that impact Silicon Valley. I also serve on a community based non-profit organization (KACS) that provides programs for teens and seniors.

I graduated from the University of California at Davis, where I received my bachelor's degree in Political Science.

I am the oldest son of an immigrant family. My father brought his family to the United States in pursuit of higher educational opportunities. He studied at the University of Chicago and the University of Minnesota for his graduate degree in computer science. My parents and my sister currently reside in Carmel, California. Since graduating from college, I have made Santa Clara my home.
