I want to not only continue to make progress on the basic programs of street repair and sewers, but also tackle high technology infrastructure improvements.Any town must first do the basics right, including street repair and sewers. As I have walked around town I have spoken to many residents who continue to have problems with the repair and maintenance of their streets. During the past year, I worked on a new project to enhance revenue for the street repair fund without raising taxes. I also have raised the issue of cable TV access and better cell phone reception and better internet access. I have specific solutions in mind for all three of these problems. I will outline these in more detail at the LWV debate on October 12th. |
