As the incumbent, Trustee Area 4, Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) Board Member, I am currently serving my second successful term and desire to continue giving excellent service to this organization and to the school districts.

My educational background and experience has enabled me to be a very successful Board member. As a Board member, my strengths include being an active listener, considering both sides of an issue and making sound decisions.

My 23 years as a teacher of at-risk youth with SCCOE Alternative Schools provided me with an insight into solving educational needs of students. I feel being a teacher was a rich and satisfying experience for me. In addition, my being an employee of SCCOE gave me a wonderful background of information about the resources and services provide by the Office.
