Candidate for
Council Member; Town of Los Gatos

I have been a committed volunteer in Los Gatos for more than a decade. I am the current Vice Chairman of the Town of Los Gatos Community Services Commission with a focus on Senior and Youth Programs and representative on the General Plan Committee. I am also the current Vice Chairman of the Los Gatos High School New Millennium Foundation and sit on the leadership committee of Alive and Loving Life. Previous volunteer positions include President of the Los Gatos Elementary Foundation, President of the Fisher Middle School Dads Club, Soccer coach and Baseball coach. In addition, have served in the United States Marine Corp and have a BA in Psychology from Chico State University. And now as your council member, I will:

• Work to maintain a balanced budget that will assure the highest levels of public safety and services to all residents of Los Gatos with a continued strong focus on Senior and Youth programs.
• Preserve the unique character, charm and small town atmosphere of our downtown and our neighborhoods, maintaining a well-designed mix of residential, commercial, service and open space uses that meet the needs of our residents.
• Support an active business community that provides a wide variety of goods and services and a broad range of employment opportunities.
• Work tirelessly to build consensus among the council, the commissions, the town's administration and you. Neighborhoods First! I will protect your neighborhood! Candy, Kevin, Kyle and I have lived in neighborhoods of Los Gatos for 17 years and understand that we all may have a sense of disenfranchisement. I will be your neighborhood councilmember. I will strive to represent your concerns, and I will listen. We must work together to have a voices on the council. We are committed to Los Gatos and committed to delivering the quality of life that Los Gatos has to offer to all residents. Please give me your vote on November 2nd,2004. I am the only candidate that is endorsed by both the Santa Clara County Fire Fighters and the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Oficers Association and hundreds of your friends and neighbors.
