Through our schools, we build our future.

By Chuck Cunningham

Candidate for Board Member; Natomas Unified School District

This information is provided by the candidate
Our schools must have quality teachers and schools along with the right tools to do their jobs.
As your school board member, I will promote policies that focus on student achievement. I will endorse a team approach between the board, teachers and parents, assuring that our students have the resources to develop their needed skills. Safe, healthy classrooms with the latest technology needed for modern teaching are a must. In addition to building quality students, we must have an environment to encourage the best staff of teachers available. I want Natomas Unified School District to be the "Benchmark" for other districts.

My background is Systems Engineering and Program Management, taking requirements, goals, and objectives from concepts to viable, operating programs. I am a graduate of Drexel University with a Masters Degree in Systems Management and a Registered Professional Engineer with over 30 years of Engineering Management experience with General Electric and Motorola. I have been actively involved with Natomas Park community activities plus membership in the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. I am asking for your vote so that I can serve and enhance the development of our quality district.
