David Peters went through Hemet schools from kindergarten to 12th grade. He still remembers all of his teachers, and his experience. He graduated from Calif. State University, San Bernardino in 1989, then continued his education earning his teaching credential the following year.

David Peters understands public education sometimes more than he wants to. David is aware of many of the problems facing our children. He wants nothing more than to help them. He wants students to enjoy their school experience and be successsful after their graduation. He understands there is only so much he can do as a teacher. And, he wants to do more. This reason is why he wants to be a school board member.

He knows the school board holds the power to provide its students with quality service. He is aware that not all the workers in the district are providing good service. Therefore, he feels it is essential that students, parents, and employees feel comfortable coming to the school board.
