Government of, by and for the people requires an informed citizenry and elected officials who trust them enough to listen to their ideas. It is my vision that all the residents in the City of Banning will experience the benefits of an effective and responsive government, which provides opportunities for direct participation and the enjoyment of it's economic growth.
- Smart growth

Smart Growth is a national movement to step back and reconsider the American ideal of one home on one parcel across an entire city. That ideal has led to sprawl such as the development apparent in Moreno Valley. It has monotonous rows of houses, far from grocery stores and other retail, and far from jobs so that everyone must drive everywhere. Residents have made it clear that that is not what they want for Banning.
- Beautify Banning

Creating a beautiful livable Banning, with trees in all areas of the City, requires we make livability a higher priority for developmet in the City than moving cars quickly. We are in the driver's seat regarding development and a "development at any cost" philosophy of the late 1990's is no longer acceptable.
