Promoting Small Business - "My Grandfather started an open-air fruit stand in Orange in the 1930s. Today, that fruit stand is Smith's Nut House and my father is behind the counter. Small businesses like our are the backbone of the community. I will work with the business community to keep our city small business-friendly."

Managing Growth While Preserving Open Space - "It's just common sense that we cannot grow faster than our ability to maintain our infrastructure. I want to make sure that we preserve open for future generations to enjoy."

Controlling Traffic - "I will not allow our neighborhood streets to become shortcuts for drivers."

Strengthening Public Safety - "We must provide the men and woman who protect us with the equipment they need to do their jobs. We have outstanding police offers and firefighters, who deserve our respect and support."
