-Address Fullerton's $150 million dollar infrastructure deficit, without raising taxes.

-Support business development and strengthen Fullerton's economic base.

-Growth Management

I have served on two committees with the city of Fullerton starting in 1998: The Emergency Services Master Plan Committee and the Infrastructure Advisory Committee. I have worked hard since 1999 trying to make fire station 4 a paramedic engine. Just this year we succeeded in convincing city council to make engine 4 a paramedic engine.

I will work hard on developing and passing a long-term solution to Fullerton's infrastructure deficit, without raising taxes. I believe a vigorous debate will be forth coming on the issue of infrastructure and some council members may propose tax increases as a solution. I will not endorse an increase in taxes as a solution to solve Fullerton's infrastructure deficit.

Fullerton will be facing major development decisions in the coming years. If West Coyote Hills is not saved, I will not support high-density housing projects. I will push for keeping as much open space as possible and believe the building of a new jr. high or high school must be incorporated into the development.

Being a city council member is not about prestige or the promotion of a person's future career in another endeavor. Being a city council member is about being a servant to the citizens of Fullerton. I believe many council members develop an arrogance about themselves that tends not to benefit the citizens. I believe this is in part due to the fact that some council members have never donated time to charitable organizations or have never served the public prior to being elected to office. I donate my time to the following: Habitat for Humanity, Christmas in April, Millers Children Hospital, and Rescue Youth Program. I have chosen careers that involve giving back to people (i.e. Teaching and Firefighting). I believe serving as a city council member is about giving back to the community.

I am running my campaign on less than $800, while some of the other candidates will be spending approximately anywhere from $45,000 to $85,000. I am not accepting money. My campaign is entirely based on the citizens of Fullerton spreading the word about voting for Rex Pritchard. I believe in being open, honest, and straightforward about issues. I will always be open to public questions and discussions. I encourage you to call or email me with any questions you may have or if you would just like to voice your support.
