Candidate for
Board Member; Tustin Unified School District

I have a vested interest in this community. I moved here over 12 years ago when I married my husband. We are homeowners and business owners and we'll continue to live in Tustin as we raise our 10 year old son. This is a great place to be!

To better serve the students and families of our district, I have or currently serve on many committees such as the Beckman High School Planning Committee, the interview committee to select the Project Manager to oversee the Measure G work, Safe and Drug Free Schools Committee, Vocational Educational Committee, Special Education Community Advisory Committee, and the Strategic Planning Committee.

I have served twice as the school board President and Vice-President. I was also elected by my fellow Board members throughout Orane County to serve on the Delegate Assembly for the California Schools Boards Association, a state level position that allowed our district to take an active roll in shaping educational policy at the state level.
