Meeting Budget Challenges

By Daniel E. Cort

Candidate for Councilmember; City of Pacific Grove

This information is provided by the candidate
Community faces many budgetary challenges
Our community faces no greater challenge than that of increasing costs and flat revenues. Our next city council needs to make the tough decisions necessary to bring our escalating budget under control.

Resident input is crucial in determining our City's budgetary priorities. Only by working together can we create a balanced budget that meets the needs of our community.

Our city also needs to avoid costly litigation that squanders taxpayer money while making lawyers rich.

"Dan has shown real leadership as chair on the Planning Commission. He listens to all sides of an issue then works for fair and balanced decisions." (Steve Honegger-Former PG Councilmember)
